This was the original Graywater
setup before diverter valves
and pipes were added.
You can see the perimeter slab insulation consisting of two
layers of XPS foam (the blue stuff), that was placed before
backfilling. The insulation goes down 18", then an umbrella
was formed by adding a layer of 6 mil poly and another layer
2" thick extending four feet out, reducing to one layer 1" thick
out eight feet all the way around the house.
